Team Metro Philadelphia will be one of six teams representing Southeastern Pennsylvania in the Keystone State Games. This years event will be held in Happy Valley on the Penn State University Campus on Saturday and Sunday, August 1 and 2. There will be 13 other teams from across the commonwealth of Pennsylvania going for the gold. Tryouts for the Metro Philadelphia team will be held at 6:30 on Thursday and Friday evenings, July 9 and 10 on the campus of St. Joseph’s University. The entire program will be heading to Gettysburg College to witness a major clash between two of the top NCAA Division III programs in the country next Wednesday afternoon. On March 18, 2009 at 3:30 PM Coach Greer's Cabrini College Cavaliers and Coach Gregg's Gettysburg College Bullets will face-off in what should be an epic battle. A bus will depart from SJP at 12 noon Wednesday 3/18/09. Hoagies and drinks will be provided for a nominal cost to all players for the bus ride. The bus will return to SJP Wednesday by 8 PM. Prospective Lacrosse Players: Over the next few weeks leading up to the Winter Break the coaches encourage all prospective lacrosse players to make time to condition and keep in shape.
